Support Your Churches

Why we need your support

We rely on your support to cover the Parish’s running costs, help others in our community and our mission partners, and to cover the contribution to our Parish Share, which is an annual levy from the Guildford Diocese paying for our clergy, training, outreach projects and central services such as safeguarding. Our annual costs of £140,000 are funded entirely by voluntary contributions.

Crondall and Ewshot Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the charity responsible for running the churches. Find out below how you can make your own contribution.

Regular Giving

To contribute a monthly gift towards the Parish, please set up a Direct Debit by visiting the Parish Giving Scheme website, or call 0333 002 1260 and quote our Parish Code 170617040. If you currently use the Yellow Envelope Scheme, please consider moving to a Direct Debit which is more cost effective and easier for us to administer. If you have any questions about making a regular gift, please contact Robert Tickell on 07711 058782 or robert_tickell@talk21.com.

Single Gift to the Churches

To make a single gift online, please visit the Parish Giving Scheme website. A small proportion of your gift will be used to cover card processing fees.

You can also send a cheque to the Parish Office. Please make cheques payable to “Crondall and Ewshot PCC”.

If your gift is £100 or more, please consider using online banking to make your gift. This will enable us to avoid card fees, so more of your gift will fund our mission. If you make a gift this way, please contact us so that we know where the funds have come from. A Gift Aid Declaration will be sent to you separately.

Please use the following bank details:

Lloyds Bank, Farnham
Sort Code: 30-93-20
Account Number:00091654

Important: Please use your surname in the reference field

Gifts in Memory

If you would like to ask that gifts are made to the Church in memory of a loved one at their funeral, please contact your funeral director who will help set up an online donation page to facilitate this. Cash collections will be handled securely by our team of volunteers and passed on to other charities at your request.

A Gift in Your Will

Including a gift in your Will is a simple and tax-effective way to give. Our legacy pledge to you explains how a gift in your Will can help to secure the future of our churches in Crondall and Ewshot. After making sure that your family and loved ones are recognised, you could specify a percentage of your estate be given to the Church. Stating a percentage instead of a fixed amount will mean that your gift is protected from inflation. Even 1% of your estate can be a significant amount.

To include a gift to the Church in your Will, we recommend that you speak to your Solicitor. If you are clear about your intentions and do not have time or the opportunity to change your Will, you can write a Letter of Wishes and keep it with your Will. Your Executor can choose to follow your wishes but is not legally obliged to do so. You could also write your own Codicil. You can find suggested wording and more information here

You will need the following information:

The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Crondall and Ewshot,
Parish Office, Croft Lane, Crondall, Farnham, Hampshire GU10 5QF,
UK Registered Charity number 1128489.

Collections in Church

During our services, we continue to hold a cash collection. If you prefer to give using contactless payment, please use our SumUp unit at the back of All Saints. You can select the amount you donate and add your details to facilitate Gift Aid collection. In St Mary’s, we ask that you use the QR code shown on leaflets in the church to access the Parish Giving Scheme website, where you can make your gift online.
